We had an absolutely amazing dining experience at Achinos in Nafpaktos. We were lucky to find a table right on the beach, just five meters from the sea—a setting that truly elevated the entire meal.The menu offers an exceptional variety of seafood delicacies, including some rare finds like sea urchin (urchin roe called Achinos in greek), which is not something you come across often and was a real highlight.I had the grilled tuna, and it was a beautifully composed dish—perfectly cooked and served with salad and a silky tarama mousse that balanced the flavors wonderfully.Big compliments to the staff, who were attentive and warm throughout, making us feel welcome and taken care of. And hats off to the owners, not only for curating such a thoughtful and refined menu, but also for putting together an impressive selection of ouzo and tsipouro from across Greece—perfect for those who appreciate regional spirits.The wine list is also well-curated and clearly made with care. On the owner's recommendation, we tried blend of local Assyrtiko and Chardonnay from Patras which paired beautifully with our meal. Whether you're a seafood lover or just looking for a memorable meal with your feet nearly in the sand, Achinos is a must-visit in Nafpaktos. Can’t wait to return.- Group size

The fish soup using catch of the day carp head, not sure whether it is in the standard menu, is simply delicious. The sea bream was also cooked nicely and definitely fresh catch as well. Very impressed, thank you.

Great fish restaurants in town, nice tables on the beach. Grat menu of more then 180 uzo & raki. Nice staff. I do recommend, We I'll come back🍽😋✨️

Highly recommended ! We were so impressed that we dined there two nights in a row. The seafood was absolutely spectacular, with each dish showcasing fresh, high-quality ingredients. Beyond the excellent food, the staff's genuine kindness stood out. When a sudden downpour began, they graciously drove us back to our hotel, going above and beyond our expectations.

The food was phenomenal. The swordfish steak, the cod, the halibut and the calamari were amazing, fresh and extremely well cooked. The service was great, we were able to choose as our own fish from the catch of the day and it was fileted for us. It was quite expensive, but rather worth it.

Fantastic spot! We tried the fresh red mullets and absolutely loved them. Next time, we'll go for a bigger fish, everything looked delicious and incredibly fresh!

We loved this beach side restaurant: fishes and lobsters were super fresh (checked it ourselves), and nicely prepared. Service was nice and helpful and the view is amazing, especially in the first hours of the evening with the declining sun

It has a large menu, with classic options, but also more special ones, such as ""kontosouvli"" squid, tuna, salmon and fresh fish options.
Everything we tried was delicious, we recommend the steamed mussels, the fresh ""koutsomoures"" (red fish) and the ""kontosouvli"" squid.
